Simu Liu Makes Red Carpet Debut With Suspected Girlfriend Jade Bender At ESPYs

Marvel actor Simu Liu and his suspected girlfriend Jade Bender appeared on a major red carpet together Wednesday when they attended the 2022 ESPY Awards. Bender just had a role in the Netflix film Senior Year.

Liu wore a dark navy suit and button-up sans tie, while Bender wore a glamorous and shining minidress. They also recently appeared together when Liu guested on Jimmy Kimmel Live! It’s not clear when they began dating, but they’ve known each other as long ago as 2019.

Liu began acting in 2012 after he was laid off from his accounting job, and had his breakout on the TV sitcom Kim’s Convenience. He debuted in the MCU with his role in Shang-Chi and the Legend Of The Ten Rings and will appear in its still-untitled sequel.

He is also set to appear in the buzzy upcoming Barbie movie alongside Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. He also wrote a memoir about growing up in an immigrant family titled We Were Dreamers which was published in May 2022.

Along with her Netflix original debut, Bender acted in the TV movie Night School in 2020 and had a few-episode arc in the series Major Crimes.
