Simon Cowell‘s single to benefit the Helping Haiti charity debuted Tuesday morning on UK radio stations. The American Idol judge joined British tabloid The Sun in organizing a cover of REM’s early ’90s hit "Everybody Hurts." A number of pop stars recorded their contributions over the past weekend in L.A. and London. Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Leona Lewis, Jon Bon Jovi, Susan Boyle, Kylie Minogue and James Blunt were among the artists who lent vocals to the track. –MEGHAN GROSSO
