Simon Cowell drove his fellow X Factor UK judges up to the show’s auditions at Wembley Arena in a vintage ride Sunday.

X Factor Judges’ Arrival

Cowell had the driver’s seat in the cream-colored car, while Cheryl Fernandez-Versini rode shotgun. In the backseat of the vehicle for the grand entrance were The X Factor‘s other two judges – Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw.

“Oh hey huns!” Grimshaw captioned a picture of the foursome en route to the arena.

While The X Factor auditions are underway for the current season, Cowell has weighed in on the future of the show’s best-known former finalists – One Direction. With Zayn Malik becoming the first to make his exit from the boyband earlier this year, Cowell hinted that it might be a good idea for the young men to take some time off.

“They’ve got enough hits now they can take some time off and do some other stuff they want to do,” Cowell told The Sun. “Then I hope they’ll have a little bit of time apart and want to get back together again. It’s a fun job, but it’s absolutely their decision.”

As for One Direction member Louis Tomlinson, Cowell said that he spoke to the singer and tried to give him some advice and encouragement about becoming a father. “I said to him, ‘You man up. You’re fortunate because you’re in a position to be able to look after the baby and not worry too much about that,'” Cowell told The Sun.

“But I also told him, ‘I’ve received bad calls in my life but this is not one of them,'” Cowell continued. “This is your business but I’m here for you.’ He didn’t kill anyone. He got someone pregnant. It happens every day all over the world. Again, Louis has got great family around him and, look, it’s a plus, not a negative.”
