Simon Cowell Breaks Arm After Second Electric Bike Accident

Simon Cowell. the producer and Got Talent franchise judge, is fine after he was hospitalized following yet another accident on his electric bike near his home in West London.

Cowell has crashed on an electric bike before, once falling so hard in Los Angeles that he broke his back and needed a five-hour surgery. According to witnesses, Cowell fell from the bike after hitting a wet patch in the road.

Despite an apparently horrifying scene last Thursday, where witnesses claimed that Cowell flipped over his handlebars at 20 m.p.h. and was bleeding profusely from the face, he was released with just a broken arm later Thursday evening. Despite his injuries, Cowell was grinning and seemed in high spirits in paparazzi photos taken after he was discharged from the hospital.

Cowell was also reportedly not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Cyclists, please don’t think you’re too cool to be safe! Falls and crashes involving bicycles are often much more deadly, and Cowell is beyond lucky to walk away alive from two accidents without wearing a helmet.

He is currently filming the new season of Britain’s Got Talent, which will premiere in April.
