Sia has shared that she was emotionally abused by Shia LaBeouf in light of FKA twigs‘ recent lawsuit against him. In a tweet, she hinted that the two were together while LaBeouf was married to actress Mia Goth.

“I too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single,” Sia wrote in her tweet. “I believe he’s very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself- stay safe, stay away.”

The singer also linked to a New York Times article covering the lawsuit.

In the replies, Twitter users speculated that the two were together around the time of Sia’s controversial “Elastic Heart” music video, which LaBeouf stars in.

The video was released in January of 2015, and though Sia was married to ex-husband Erik Anders Lang at the time, the couple divorced sometime in 2016, the same year that LaBeouf and Goth were married.

Just minutes after the first tweet, Sia continued her message to FKA twigs with a followup tweet about her bravery.

“Also I love you @FKAtwigs,” she wrote. “This is very courageous and I’m very proud of you.”
