Sia released a new music video for the latest single off her 1000 Forms of Fear album, “Big Girls Cry.”
As with Sia’s last two music video’s – for “Chandelier” and “Elastic Heart” – the “Big Girls Cry” music video stars Dance Moms star Maddie Ziegler. Outfitted in a nude-colored leotard and blond wig, Ziegler channels the emotions of the powerful song while sitting in a chair.
The minimalist video is the latest in a trilogy of music videos that Sia has put out for her personal 1000 Forms of Fear album.
In the “Chandelier” music video, which was nominated for a Grammy, Ziegler was filmed dancing around an abandoned apartment.
Actor Shia LaBeouf costarred with Ziegler in the “Elastic Heart” video, sparking controversy, as some thought the dancing inappropriate between the 12-year-old dancer and 28-year-old actor.
Sia’s 1000 Forms of Fear hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 200 chart.
