Sia took the stage on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday to perform her cover of the Nat King Cole classic “Unforgettable,” which will be the closing track of the upcoming Finding Dory film.
Sia, donned in a dark blue wavy dress, a large black hair bow, and her signature black and white hair that covered her face, put her own twist on the Cole single.
With beautiful and soft runs, and her unique sound, Sia’s performance prompted a standing ovation from the Ellen audience.
Sia was chosen by Ellen DeGeneres, who is the voice of Dory in the Pixar film, to perform the theme song for Finding Dory, the Finding Nemo sequel which follows an amnesiac Dory recovering memories of her childhood.
“Dory’s story makes me teary,” the singer admitted. “When Ellen asked me, I couldn’t refuse.”
Sia’s cover of “Unforgettable” will be available for purchase when the soundtrack and film are released on June 17.
