James Franco was spotted shirtless on the set of his new movie The Disaster Artist while filming in Los Angeles, Calif., Thursday.

In between shooting scenes and costume changes, Franco showed off his abs and long black wig. Franco, who is producing the The Disaster Artist, is also directing it and starring as actor Tommy Wiseau. The film depicts the making of Wiseau vehicle The Room, which is widely credited as being one of the worst movies ever made.

Starring alongside Franco in the film is his younger brother Dave Franco, who is playing Greg Sestero. Sestero had starred with Wieseau in the The Room as betraying best friend Mark, who goes after his girlfriend, Lisa, played by Juliette Danielle. Ari Graynor is playing Danielle in The Disaster Artist. “THE DISASTER ARTIST: The making of THE ROOM,” Franco captioned a picture from the set with his brother. “?It has begun!!!!!”
Franco posted another picture from the set of himself wearing a bucket hat, captioning it with a famous quote from the movie: “Oh, hi Denny,”
The Disaster Artist will also star Josh Hutcherson, Alison Brie, Zac Efron, Seth Rogen, Kate Upton, Jacki Weaver and Hannibal Buress.
