A shirtless Cuba Gooding Jr. shot scenes for the upcoming American Crime Story: The People V OJ Simpson series on Wednesday, when John Travolta was also on set.
Gooding was in character as the currently imprisoned former NFL player O.J. Simpson on the American Crime Story set in Encino, Calif., while Travolta was decked out as one of his defense attorneys, Robert Shapiro. Gooding appeared shirtless during his scene standing beside a black SUV.
Travolta, on the other hand, was clad in a navy suit outside of a mansion doubling as Simpson’s.
American Crime Story, from American Horror Story creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, will follow Simpson’s trial for the 1994 double homicide of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.

In the hotly anticipated series, David Schwimmer will play Simpson’s good friend and attorney Robert Kardashian, Selma Blair will play Kardashian’s ex-wife and Nicole’s good friend Kris Jenner, Courtney B. Vance is playing defense attorney Johnnie Cochran and Sarah Paulson is starring as prosecutor Marcia Clark.
