In another case of young love gone sour, British actress Carey Mulligan and her American beau Shia LaBeouf have parted ways.
The couple met on the set of Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps, in August 2009, where they were matched as love interests. The on-screen romance blossomed into a real-life relationship, but the good times have come to an end, confirms People.
Oscar nominated Mulligan, 25, has been seen camping out at a Los Angeles Best Western while filming her latest film, Drive, with co-star Ryan Gosling. LaBeouf, 24, is also away shooting Transformers 3, which the magazine credits with having a part in their break-up.
But Mulligan seems to be in good spirits. "I don't know why people are so down on the Best Western," she joked to People at the Hollywood Film Awards, where she presented an award to fellow Brit Andrew Garfield. "They have the best sweet potato fries I've ever had." –AMY LEE
