Dan + Shay singer Shay Mooney showed off the impressive results of his fitness journey with a before-and-after picture posted to Instagram.
“Consistency,” he wrote in the caption. “I changed my entire world in 6 months. No gimmicks or fads. Just consistency. If that tired guy on the left can do it so can you.”
Mooney opened up about his weight loss in December in an interview with Today after joking he has to be next to his slimmer costar “all the time.”

“I had this moment where I was not feeling healthy,” he said. “It wasn’t necessarily for my appearance but it was to feel healthy and I’m down about 53 or 54 pounds.”
A few months earlier, he shared on Instagram that he had been making some major lifestyle choices to lose the weight. He admitted he’d been eating clean, avoiding alcohol and walking 7 miles a day.
“I completely changed my lifestyle and I’ve never felt better physically, mentally and spiritually,” the singer shared.
Fellow country stars showed their support for his latest progress post.
“You should be proud!” Carrie Underwood wrote in the comments.
