Shaquille O'Neal Earns A Ph.D.

Four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal — better known as "Shaq" — received his doctorate degree in education from Barry University Saturday in Miami, Florida. O'Neal, who left Louisiana State University early for the NBA, went back to school to earn his bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree and now, a Ph.D.

But that doesn't mean he wants to be known as Dr. Shaq. “Only the children can call me Shaq, the adults have to address me as Dr. O’Neal,” he told ABC News.
