On Friday, Shannen Doherty posted a picture on Instagram reflecting back on her battle with cancer.
The star was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2015 and has since undergone chemotherapy and other treatment.
“Last day of chemo. Exhausted. Now that I’m done with chemo and radiation, the waiting game is here,” Doherty captioned the photo. “Waiting for test. Waiting to see if I’m clear or not. Waiting for reconstruction. Waiting. I think when one gets cancer, they are always waiting to a certain extent. To those who know … I’m waiting with you.”
Fans quickly responded to her post with comments of support and admiration. Many fans were “sending lots of prayers and positive thoughts”, and some were sharing their own battles with cancer.
