Shane Dawson Calls Tati Westbrook ‘Manipulative’ On Instagram Live

YouTube star Shane Dawson took to Instagram live to call Tati Westbrook “manipulative” after she had posted a video blaming Dawson and Jeffree Star for her previous controversial video agent James Charles. Westbrook had originally gone after Charles by exposing business deals and manipulative sexual advances. Westbrook claimed in the video that both Dawson and Star had coerced her into saying these things.

Dawson filmed his reaction as he watched Westbrook’s post. He kept saying, “This is insane” and implied that she had contacted “drama channels” to let them know about her video in order to get as much attention for it as possible. He said, “You are so manipulative! You are fake crying. That is not real.”

Dawson’s fiancé Ryland Adams came to Dawson’s defense by tweeting, “Tati Westbrook – a master class in  manipulation. The only was to save her reputation was to side with the person she tried to ruin. Make no mistake. This 40 year old woman choose to post a video on her own accord. She riled up Shane before doing so to have one of the biggest.”

Over the past few weeks, Dawson had been receiving a lot of backlash due to resurfaced blackface videos and a video where he appeared to be touching himself to a poster of Willow Smith at 11 years old. 

Dawson had apologized and tweeted on June 21, “I deleted everything. I’m done. For those who wanted me to ‘address it’ I did. I’m sure u can find it reposted somewhere. But I don’t want this energy in my life or on my timeline. I’m too sensitive for this shit and I’m done.”
