Shakira Premieres New Song On Web

Shakira is premiering her new song "Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)" on PopEater.com Tuesday. "Waka Waka" is the official FIFA World Cup 2010 song and will be performed by the Latin American singer at the event’s closing ceremony. "The FIFA World Cup is a miracle of global excitement, connecting every country, race, religion and condition around a single passion," Shakira said. "It represents an event that has the power to unite and integrate, and that’s what this song is about."

The song will be officially launched Wednesday and will be available for digital download on the week of May 11. Check out the exclusive sneak preview of the song on PopEater.com.
