Seth Rogen has flatly denied that he left his office smelling like marijuana smoke before it was assumed by former Sony co-chair Amy Pascal.
Rogen took to Instagram Thursday to address the story printed in The Hollywood Reporter. “I don’t know what’s more irresponsible,” the actor captioned a screen shot of the article, “that they would print a story that is completely untrue, or that they would refer to how pot smells as a ‘stench.’ #mys—smellsgood.”
On Thursday, it was alleged that Pascal, who is now an on-the-lot producer, had to have her new office painted because Rogen, who’d recently vacated the office, had left it smelling like marijuana. Not only did Rogen and screenwriting partner Evan Goldberg allegedly leave the walls smelling like pot, but the floors as well. The odor even crept up from their first floor digs to the third floor, a source told The Hollywood Reporter.
While Rogen has refuted the report by THR, he has never been shy about his affinity for smoking pot. “I guess I could say I have a terrible case of I-wanna-smoke-weed-all-day,” he once told Elle Magazine. About a month ago, Rogen posted a picture of a pot bowl on Instagram filled with marijuana, captioning it, “Super Bowl.”
