It appears Seth Rogen wants to make amends with Justin Bieber following a slew of disparaging remarks he made about the singer over the past year.

Seth Rogen Apologizes To Justin Bieber On Ellen Degeneres Show

The funny man ignited a spat with the the Biebs back in January when he called the singer a “piece of s**t” on Twitter and said even worse things about him in an interview with Howard Stern in May. Appearing on The Ellen Show this week, however, he told host Ellen Degeneres that he wanted to put the bad blood behind him.

“It’s not really a beef, I just called him some mean things on social media for no real reason,” Rogen laughed. “And I’d only met him very briefly. I can’t tell you why I did it, I was inclined to do it at that moment, and then I did it.”

“And then it really hurt his feelings — as it should have — and a lot of people got very mad at me,” he continued. “I finally saw him today in the hallway of your show and I guess we made up, which is fantastic. It’s all my fault, it’s all because I decided to be mean one day for no reason whatsoever.”

The comments show a marked change in Rogen’s attitude towards Bieber. Speaking on Howard Stern’s radio show during the summer Rogen said of the “What Do You Mean” singer:

He’s (Bieber) a good example of someone you meet, who you think you’re going to hate him, and then you get to hate him as much as you thought would. You meet him, and he meets up to every one of your [bad] expectations of how you hope he will be.”

Bieber never rose to the bait, however, and took to Twitter to say that, despite Rogen’s verbal attack, he still remained a fan of his movies.

Bieber even begged Rogen to be part of his Comedy Central Roast but his pleas went unacknowledged.

No comment yet from Bieber on whether he’s ready to forgive and forget.
