Seth Meyers, 45, host of Late Night With Seth Meyers, has announced that he will be teaming up with Netflix to release a new comedy special entitled Seth Meyers: Lobby Baby. In the comedian’s first ever special he will be discussing a range of topics, such as love, politics, fatherhood and birthdays.

Meyers is the father of a 3-year-old, Ashe Olsen Meyers, and an infant,
Axel Strahl Meyers. His upcoming standup show appears to be inspired by the birth of the latter. In a 2018 interview with Jimmy Fallon he said, “We fully delivered our baby in the lobby of our apartment building, which was not the plan.” He continued to explain that they had planned on going to the hospital as soon as his wife got her first contraction, but then how she only ended up having one contraction and was ready to give birth right then and there.

In a Netflix press release he later joked, “you can love a lobby baby as much as a hospital baby… in time.”

Well, only time will tell whether or not the late night host’s latest Netflix installment will be a success. Seth Meyers: Lobby Baby is scheduled to premiere November 5.
