We’ve all been there. Rush hour commute, no standing space and your only saving grace to a screechy subway ride are all tangled up. Have no fear, Sennheiser’s new wireless headphones are here and they supposedly last 30 hours on a single charge. That’s ten hours longer than the Bose QC35. There’s even a neat app that allows you to tune your listening experience to your liking.
Sennheiser, a German company founded in 1945, specializes in manufacturing headphones, microphones and wireless systems. The Sennheiser PXC 550 wireless headphones give you ample control over your phone calls and music. Noise-cancellation is controlled by enabling the NoiseGuard tech. The CapTune app also gives you the option of adjusting how you listen to your music and a voice command system allows you to manually adjust the settings. Three built-in microphones can be used to make high-quality phone calls for all of you traveling on business. The PXC 550s don’t stop there in anticipating your needs: taking them off will stop the music or even pause a phone call.
The headphones are easily portable with a collapsible frame and combine smart technology with an intuitive listening experience. A touch sensitive trackpad is integrated into the earcups, for example, allowing you to control volume, skip a track or take a call without missing a beat. You can connect your smartphone to the PXC 550s through Bluetooth and pair it with NFC support.
A 30-hour commute is one from hell, but it’s comforting to know Sennheiser has your back.
