Selling Sunset‘s Maya Vander, 39, has shared that she’s expecting a child “any day now” following the stillbirth of her son, Mason, in late 2021 and a miscarriage six months later.
The real estate reality TV star hadn’t previously posted an official announcement on social media, but she uploaded a video of herself discussing a new home listing where she was visibly pregnant.
Vander spoke to the press to explain why she kept her pregnancy news private. “I am 9 months pregnant, and I’m expecting a baby girl any day now,” she said. “It’s exciting, but also this time around, I have more fears and more concerns given the last circumstances.”

In December 2021, Vaneder posted a photo of a memory box to her Instagram, writing in the caption that her stillbirth was the most difficult day of her life.
She later said that according to the autopsy report, Mason’s death was a bad accident where the umbilical cord mixed with some swallowed placenta.
In tribute to Mason, Vander and her husband, Dave Miller, recently helped fund the construction of a children’s playground to “bring joy” to others. She wrote on Instagram, “In every tragedy, we can try to find a little light and learn how to navigate through hard times.”
