“While we are disappointed to share this news, the health and safety of our fans, artists, partners, staff and the Asbury Park community remains our top priority,” the Festival’s Twitter account said in a statement in July, when they announced the festival’s cancellation. “Our gratitude goes out to the fans who were looking forward to joining us on the beach this year, and we thank you all for your understanding and patience while we made this difficult, but necessary decision.”
“Out mission to celebrate live music, art, and surf culture is stronger than ever and we can’t wait to see you on the sand in 2021!” the statement said.
The 2021 festival is set to take place September 18 and 19. The line up features artists like Pearl Jam, The Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Idol, Matt & Kim and Grouplove.
Tickets purchased for 2020’s cancelled festival will be honored for 2021’s festival, according to a statement from the festival’s Twitter account. Ticket holders can also get refunds from Front Gate Tickets if they are not able to make the rescheduled dates.
There are several types of 2-Day tickets available, including General Admission, General Admission Plus, VIP, Platinum, and Ultimate, with prices starting at $205.
