Scott Disick was shown making the decision to check himself into rehab on Sunday night’s all new episode of Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons.
Disick, 31, has been a staple of the Kardashian reality empire ever since the show began as the boyfriend of Kourtney Kardashian, and his problems with anger management and substance abuse have been well documented throughout the series.
In the most recent episode, Disick drank too much while the Kardashians were back home in L.A. to celebrate North West’s first birthday and realized he may need to go back to rehab. “I thought I was going to die,” he told a friend.
In the episode, Kardashian described Disick as being “severely depressed,” and noted that she believed he used pills and alcohol to self-medicate.
“So, Scott might be going to a rehab tomorrow… First of all, he’s just like severely depressed. He just makes up whatever pills he thinks he needs to take,” Kardashian told Kendall Jenner.
Disick and Kardashian are parents to son, Mason, 4, daughter Penelope, 2, and are currently expecting their third child in December. And, while Kardashian noted that she didn’t want to force Disick to enter rehab, she hoped that he would.
Later that week, when Kardashian and her children returned to the Hamptons, Disick had already checked into Connecticut’s Mountainside Treatment Center to deal with his substance abuse.
“I’ve gone over this in my head so many times to try to live a cleaner life, and for some reason I just keep going back to the same routine. I’ve pretty much become a broken record. And I’m sick of hearing myself talk about the problems I have that I don’t fix. And I’ve always known for a long time I did need to get some help to get to a better place,” Disick said.
Disick entered rehab sometime this past summer, when the couple was filming Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons, but it’s unclear for how long he stayed, or how successful his most recent stint in rehab was. On Friday, Nov. 21, Disick hosted a party at a Las Vegas nightclub, where he reportedly “sipped on vodka.”
