Tom Cruise and Elizabeth Moss are being encouraged to enter into a romantic relationship by the Church of Scientology, according to reports.

Tom Cruise & Elizabeth Moss?

Cruise, 51, and Moss, 31, are both devout members of the Church of Scientology. With that in mind and despite their age difference, those with power in the church are allegedly pushing for them to pair up and potentially marry, reported Hollywood News Daily. Friends allegedly also support the match.

“Friends think it would be great for both of them – and Scientology,” an insider told Hollywood news. “[Churchleaders would] be delighted to have their leading member become involved with another celebrity Scientologist.”

Cruise hasn’t publically dated anyone since his split from Katie Holmes, who apparently cited his religion as a reason for her desire to divorce him. Scientology also reportedly played a part in the demise of his marriage to Nicole Kidman. It’s been suggested that the Church of Scientology has been eager to see their star member find a new partner.

It was reported in November of last year that Cruise had begun courting Orange is the New Black and That ‘70s Show actress Laura Prepon, 33. The two supposedly went on a couple of dates at the Renaissance at the Manor Hotel in Los Angeles. Cruise's reps denied the budding relationship.
