Scarlett Johansson And Sean Penn Vacation In Mexico

Are Scarlett Johansson, 26, and Sean Penn, 50, going to be the next couple to skirt rumors of romance?

For the past month, the duo has been creating buzz by making public appearances together. In early February, they were seen attending a party to celebrate Black Swan's Oscar nomination, reported People. Though reps for Johansson denied that she was involved with Penn at the time, they seemed pretty cozy.

Earlier this week, Johansson was spotted with her leg resting on Penn's lap while they enjoyed lunch together at a Cuban restaurant in L.A. If that's not enough to fuel rumors, the two took a private jet Tuesday morning to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for an overnight trip. They were back in L.A. the next day, and Johansson returned to filming "We Bought a Zoo" with Matt Damon. —KIMBERLY STEELE
