Sarah Palin has listed her Scottsdale, Ariz., estate for sale at nearly $2.5 million, according to reports on Wednesday.
Palin’s 8,000-square-foot manor was built in 2001 and reportedly features six bedrooms, six bathrooms and a six-car garage.
The estate is described as “a blend of Santa Barbara, Tuscan and Spanish styles” with high ceilings adorned with chandeliers.
Public records state, that the former Alaska governor, bought the property for $1.695 million in 2011
The four-acre backyard includes a covered patio, veranda and fireplaces, a fire pit, a pool, a spa, a lighted basketball court and a synthetic lawn.
Palin’s purchase, carried out through an LLC, led to rumors that she was considering running for the Senate to replace the retiring Jon Kyl.
In June, Fox News ended Palin’s contract, and in July, she stopped accepting paid subscriptions to her “Sarah Palin Channel” due to low ratings.
Palin has had “one offer on the estate and several other serious inquiries,” said Richard Barker, one of her listing agents.
“They’re just not here enough to enjoy a house that big,” Barker explained.
