Not only has Sandra Bullock, 45, filed for divorce from her husband, Jesse James – she also revealed Wednesday that she adopted a baby boy, Louis Bardo Bullock, back in January. "Yes, I have filed for divorce," Bullock tells People. "I’m sad and I am scared."
Bullock wanted to keep the adoption private until after the Academy Awards, where she won the Best Actress Oscar, but now is enjoying the rhythm of being a single mother. "You wake up, you feed, you burp, you play, you do laundry," she says. "I’m still in that stage where I’m just amazed with him and at life."
The child, who was born in New Orleans, is named after jazz great Louis Armstrong. Bullock spent time in the city in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
