Sam Smith Injures Hand In Segway Accident

Sam Smith, who had to cancel his concert in Louisville due to weather yesterday, told fans that he had also hurt his hand in a Segway accident.

Smith took to Instagram Saturday to tell his fans that a storm forced the music festival’s cancelation. “Literally In the middle of Lay Me Down there was an electrical storm and I had to be taken off stage and the whole festival had to evacuate,” Smith wrote. “This KILLS me, because you guys were SO loud and incredible!!!!!!!! You were so loud the heavens opened haha. Gutted. But I do feel like Dorothy.”

In the picture Smith captioned, his left hand is bandaged.

In a follow-up post, Smith explained the reason for the bandaging. “I fell off a f—ing Segway thing today and I think I’ve sprained my hand,” Smith wrote. “Got this s–t on ICE right now. Kills.”
