Sam Heughan & Caitriona Balfe Shine At ‘Outlander’ Season Six Premiere

Co-stars of the STARZ series Outlander, Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe, attend the Los Angeles premiere event of the show’s sixth season. Fans bristled when Balfe was not present at the season’s official London Premiere with the rest of the cast, but the two walked the red carpet together and demonstrated their chemistry.

Balfe wore a classic black dress occasionally with an off-white blazer over it. She also wore a ribbon with the colors of the Ukrainian flag on her blazer. Heughan sported a simple but stylish dark blue suit with a matching sweater and black boots.

Balfe was unable to attend the London premiere of Outlander because she was taking care of her newborn son. Her son was also one of the reasons that season six was cut short. Along with Covid-19 delays, Balfe’s baby bump became harder to shoot around until the team decided that four episodes would be cut from Outlander‘s 12-episode season order. Producers have said that the four episodes will be added to the drama’s seventh season, which will be shooting this year.
