Sam Asghari is once again standing up for his pop star wife Britney Spears amid a social media backlash over her frequent nude photo postings.

Since her 13-year conservatorship ended, in which the singer claims her family physically and verbally abused her, Spears has released numerous naked photographs on her Instagram page.

Spears’ Instagram has been a battleground between concerned fans and enthusiastic ones. But her 41 million followers are not the only ones having a hard time wrapping their heads around the pop star’s social media choices.

Some fans have wondered aloud whether her account was being controlled by someone else.

A duo of posts on Thursday had fans prompting Asghari to intervene in the Spear’s social media presence.

“I personally preferred she never posted these but who am I to control someone that’s been under a microscope and been controlled for most of her life,” he wrote.

Asghari isn’t the only family member that would have “personally preferred” that Spears stop posting nudes.

A few months ago, Spears’ sons spoke out about their mother’s social media usage.

“It’s almost like she has to post something on Instagram to get some attention,” Jaydon said in statement. Jaydon and his brother live with their father Kevin Federline.

Federline earlier in the year stated that the boys no longer wanted to see their mother.

“This has gone on for years and years and years and there’s a high chance that this will never stop, but I’m hoping for me that she will stop,” Jaydon commented at the time.

Spears took to Instagram to respond to her teenager’s fiery interview.

“My love for my children has no boundaries and it deeply saddens me to know his outcry of saying I wasn’t up to his expectations of a mother … and maybe one day we can meet face to face and talk about this openly,” Spears wrote … on social media.
