Britney Spears’ estranged husband, Sam Asghari, defended his ex-wife against “bully” Donald Trump Jr. on Sunday.
Trump Jr. posted a side-by-side comparison of the pop icon: on the left was a photo of Spears posing in a cutoff t-shirt and skirt, which the former president’s son labeled, “America under Trump.” On the right was a still from a recent video that Spears posted in which she appeared to be dancing with knives. Trump Jr. labeled this photo “America under Biden.”
Asghari responded to the post, writing that “It’s not okay to be a bully” on his Instagram story and tagging Trump Jr.
Following Spears’ concerning video on Tuesday, some of her close friends called authorities to check on her. Cops determined that the singer was alright, and Spears later told fans that she was dancing with fake knives.
This marked the first time that Asghari publicly defended Spears since their split in August.
