uInterview caught up with the House of Cards star Sakina Jaffrey on the red carpet at the premiere of Learning to Drive.
Jaffrey told uInterview that we can look forward to seeing her in another streaming hit – this time on Hulu. “My new project is that I’m playing Mindy Kaling’s mom on The Mindy Project, which starts, I think it airs mid-September on Hulu,” Jaffrey told uInterivew.
When asked about her experience working with Kaling, Jaffrey gave us the inside scoop. “You know I didn’t have scenes with her but she’s an unbelievable heroine to a lot of people, including me. I really just met her briefly, so I look forward to spending more time with her as her mama.”
