It was a special night for Kate Hudson Thursday as she was escorted to the United Nations Gala by her son Ryder Robinson just days after the duo attended a Portland Trail Blazers game together.

The 43-year-old actress, known for her role in How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days, wore a long-sleeved white gown, pink lipstick, and smoky eyeshadow, and the 18-year-old wore a navy blue suit with matching slacks.
As she walked into the concert venue, Hudson held on to Robinson’s arm, her eldest son and current NYU student.

Earlier this year, Robinson graduated high school, and Hudson took to Instagram to write a heartfelt message for the occasion. “Raising you has been one of the great gifts and pleasures of my life. You bring so much to everyone’s life. You are kind, loving, generous, patient, hilarious and one of a kind.”
Robinson’s father is Black Crowe’s singer Chris Robinson.
