Suzie Hardy, a hairstylist who accused Ryan Seacrest of committing sexual misconduct against her while she worked for E! has come forward with her story.

According to a letter sent to E! by Hardy’s attorney, which was obtained by Variety, Hardy faced unwanted sexual advances from Seacrest. Hardy stated that during her years at E!, she was subject to Seacrest “grinding his erect penis against her while clad only in his underwear, groping her vagina, and at one point slapping her buttock so hard that it left a large welt still visible hours later.”

E! ended its investigation into Seacrest’s alleged misconduct a few weeks ago, saying there was “insufficient evidence” against Seacrest. He has also refuted Hardy’s claims against him.

Hardy was interviewed three times by the independent investigator hired by NBCUniversal. She told Variety that she felt exasperated when she heard E! ended its investigation with the conclusion of not enough evidence.

“I felt like by the third interview, it was obvious the investigator was whitewashing it for Seacrest’s side,” Hardy told Variety.

E! asserted that its two-month-long investigation was thorough.

“The investigator is an attorney with nearly 20 years experience and is highly regarded professionally,” an E! spokesperson told Variety. “Any claims that question the legitimacy of this investigation are completely baseless.”
