Ryan Phillippe Posts Photo To Instagram From Hospital Bed After Breaking Leg

Ryan Phillippe posted a picture on July 16 of him giving fans a thumbs up from his hospital bed. Phillippe frequently performs his own stunts on the set of his USA TV series Shooter but broke his leg in a “freak accident” on a family trip, he said on Twitter. He has had surgery on his leg and is expected to fully recover from the accident.

Season two of Shooter premieres July 18. The actor says he is going to live-tweet the airings on both coasts and do a Q and A with fans, as he is recovering from surgery.

His new thriller Wish Upon also just released in theaters on July 14.
