The aftershocks from the allegations against Russell Brand are continuing to spread. His comedy special from 2009, Russell Brand In New York, now has been removed from Paramount+.
The special was last seen on the streaming service on Tuesday morning.
The U.K.’s Channel 4 and BBC have also removed content that included Brand, along with his YouTube videos losing monetization and his comedy tour being paused as investigations into his actions are being conducted.
This began after an investigation by Channel 4, the London Times and the Sunday Times, in which multiple women accused Brand of sexual assault and abuse between the years of 2006 and 2013.

Netflix has not commented on their plans regarding the Russell Brand Re: Birth special, which initially aired in 2018. In the past, Netflix has not removed content based on celebrity scandals, and this will probably be the case with Brand’s comedy special as well.
Brand has denied the allegation in an online video and suggested that foes of “alternative media” are to blame.
Darcy continued, “[such 'Historic tension'] has resulted in headaches for the networks’ bosses.
