Rudy Giuliani Suspended Without Pay From His Radio Show For ‘Stolen Election’ Rant, Program Was Major Income Source For Bankrupt Trump Lawyer

Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani was booted from his radio show, The Rudy Giuliani Show, for his rant about the 2020 election. On Thursday, Giuliani went on a tirade about how the 2020 election was “stolen” in the last three minutes of his WABC radio show.

The rant directly violated a company-wide policy, said radio station owner John Catsimatidis, a billionaire Republican donor. The policy states that content cannot “state, suggest or imply that the election results are not valid.”

Catsimatidis removed Giuliani from the station without pay. “He did it to himself,” the billionaire told The New York Poston Friday. Catsimatidis had previously warned Giuliani that he was “prohibited from engaging in conversations relating to the 2020 presidential election.” Giuliani responded with an angry text forwarded to Catsimatidis.

Giuliani claimed no knowledge of this policy, saying he had discussed the election for years without issues. “They don’t want me to say it’s stolen; they don’t want me to talk about the election at all. It’s so broad,” Giuliani moaned.

Catsimatidis said Giuliani’s rant was cut from the segment. The Red Apple Media owner claimed Giuliani asked for more airtime but was denied.

“He wanted more hours on the air. We didn’t volunteer to give it to him,” Catsimatidis stated.

Giuliani said he earned $15,000 a month from working at WABC. After declaring bankruptcy in December 2023, Giuliani has been hit with enormous financial burdens. A judge ordered Giuliani to pay $148 million to two Georgia women whom he falsely accused of stealing the 2020 election.

In April, Giuliani sparked social media backlash for arguing that he shouldn’t have to sell his $3.5 million Florida penthouse in his bankruptcy filing. In January, the former mayor was found to have spent $120,000 after a judge ordered him to limit his budget to $43,000 a month.

In a February bankruptcy filing, the Trump lawyer said his net monthly income was just $2,308.
