Ruby Rose Is Dating With The Veronicas’ Jessica Origliasso, Again

Former couple Ruby Rose and Jessica Origliasso from The Veronicas got back together and have just confirmed their relationship last Monday.

Rose and Origliasso have rekindled their romance while the band was filming the new music video for their last single “On Your Side,” in New Zealand. The video was written and directed by Rose, in which she stars as well alongside Jessica and her twin sister Lisa Origliasso.

The “Untouched” singer confirmed the news Monday during an interview with Australia’s radio Nova FM. “It’s me. Me and Ruby Rose. And it is our love story in this video,” Jessica said. “It’s about the dynamic, the highs and the lows of people in love, in a relationship.”

Even though the pair was rumored to have been previously dating in 2008, Jessica revealed that she and the Orange Is the New Black actress remained close. “We have been friends for eight years. A really long time and it was just honestly the craziest thing,” she admitted. “We just reconnected over doing this video, she wrote and directed it, and is in it with us and we just sort of fell in love.”

The singer also noted that they have always support each other in their careers and lives. “It made sense to be able to come out on that level because we want to be there in each other’s lives on a public level,” she explained.

Meanwhile Jessica’s sister and bandmate confessed she was not surprised by the romantic news. “From the beginning I’ve always seen the chemistry and the connection there. Ruby has been a very dear friend. So obviously I’m like yeah babe, obviously you two are in this,” Origilasso said. The latter is still in a relationship with long-term partner Logan Huffman.

The band and the actress shared pictures on social media of their recent trip in New Zealand. “Road trip with the most beautiful girl I’ve ever known and loved @jessicaveronica,” Ruby captioned one of her posts.

Jessica reposted the same image, writing “She told me; how can I not believe in fate.”

Rose surprised the band by inviting the sisters’ sick mom to join the trip. This story came as a response to rumors saying that Rose and Origliasso getting together was just a “showbiz lesbian relationship” in order to promote their project together.

Rose split with fiancee Phoebe Dahl in late 2015, and model Harley Gusman in late August of this year.

The video for “On Your Side” will be released later this week.
