'Ru Paul's Drag Race' Champ Yvie Oddly Says Her Dad Was Her Inspiration
Yvie Oddly, crowned season 11 winner of Drag Race, turned the show and herself upside down – literally. Described as one of the most “delightfully bonkers” artists to ever grace the main stage, Oddly, who transformed into everything from a glamorous jellyfish to a cyber lion on the runaway, put her stamp on the grand finale with her boundary-pushing brand of drag.
Oddly noted that her father was the inspiration behind her finale look. Other highlights included splashing “Free Brittany!” across her underwear during her first lip sync and her final lip sync moment when the crown touched her head.
The champion told EW that to celebrate her win she ate “good old fashioned Applebees.”
