Rosie O’Donnell has officially filed for divorce from her wife Michelle Rounds after nearly three years of marriage.

O’Donnell filed for the divorce on Friday, citing an “irretrievably broken relationship” for the dissolution of the marriage. The divorce filing, done in New York City, states that O’Donnell and Rounds had a prenuptial agreement. It’s unknown if the couple has reached a custody agreement for their two-year-old daughter Dakota, who they adopted in January 2013.

Three weeks ago, O’Donnell announced that she would be walking away from The View to focus on her family, confirming that she and Rounds had separated.

O’Donnell’s rep said, “Rosie has teens and an infant at home that need her attention. This has been a very stressful situation. She is putting her personal health and family first.” O’Donnell, in a YouTube video, added, “Marriage is complicated, and I’ve got five kids, four of them are teenagers.”

O’Donnell and Rounds wed in Nyack, New York in June 2012. O’Donnell was previously in a longterm relationship with Kelli Carpenter.
