Rosie O’Donnell Accuses Daughter Chelsea Alliegro Of Using Ex-Wife’s Suicide For Financial Gain

Rosie O’Donnell has accused her estranged, pregnant daughter, Chelsea Alliegro, of using her ex-wife Michelle Rounds’ suicide for financial gain.

O’Donnell, 55, and Alliegro, 20, have been estranged for years, partly because of physical and verbal incidents Alliegro claims occurred. She took to social media to announce her pregnancy, and to say that O’Donnell will play no part in her first grandchild’s life. “It’s very exciting and I’m looking forward to it. But Rosie will not be in my child’s life – and no, I do not feel sad about that to be honest,” said Alliegro, who’s expecting her first child with husband Nick Alliegro, in an interview. “Rosie and I don’t have a relationship anymore. I don’t think it can ever be mended. I really don’t think there is any hope for our relationship.”

She adds that she doesn’t have a relationship with her siblings either, most likely because of her tumultuous relationship with her mom. “I hope to speak to them eventually, but I don’t want to push it,” she said. “They stopped talking to me and then I lost all their numbers.”

In response, O’Donnell spoke out on Twitter, saying Alliegro is trying to use Rounds’ death to get money. “We have been here before Chelsea, u wanna go a few rounds in public, seems so. Michelle’s death = money 4 Chelsea,” the celeb tweeted.

“Did u hate me this day? last year – at the apple store – was this b4 nick was arrested for beating u up? same same,” she wrote.

O’Donnell also tweeted out a picture of a note that her daughter supposedly left her and her family, explaining that she was leaving because she had to find herself. “I am safe. I am loved. Please don’t worry,” the note says. “I will contact you when I’m settled. I love all of you so much. I am going to miss you all more than anything.”

And in response, O’Donnell wrote, “she’s 20 not a teen, she is married and pregnant. She doesn’t want anything to do with me, great, stop doing interviews, go live your life,” adding, “she is making money – off her family – with private details – we will put out the same – she wants out – ok – go – u r free- leave us b.”

O’Donnell posted multiple home photos and videos of her daughter with her and her other daughter Dakota, 4.
