Rory Feek was overcome with emotion watching his terminally ill wife Joey Feek spending as much time as she can with their 2-year-old daughter Indiana.

Rory Feek Responds To Joey’s Final Days

Rory recently took to Instagram to share a picture of Indiana spending time with her mother on her bed. “Feeling broken-hearted and blessed all at the same time this morning…” Rory captioned the picture. “Watching my beautiful bride pour a lifetime of love into a few minutes each day.”

A few weeks ago, Rory had shared another picture of the mother and daughter bonding. He added the more upbeat caption, “…loving watching them loving each other.”

Joey has been battling cervical cancer since May 2014. In the months following the diagnosis, she underwent a hysterectomy and has received chemotherapy and radiation treatments. After doctors determined that the cancer had spread and that she only had months to live, Joey entered hospice care at her childhood home in Indiana.

The Feeks, who’ve long performed as country duo Joey + Rory, plan to release one last album together. The album, titled Hymns That Are Important To Us, will be released on Valentine’s Day.

Joey and Rory plan to donate a portion of the proceeds of the album to The Loeys-Dietz Syndrome Foundation in honor of their 1-year-old daughter Indiana’s friend Scout, who is living with the syndrome.
