Pornstar Ron Jeremy is in critical condition and has suffered a heart aneurysm. After experiencing chest pains Tuesday, Jeremy, 59, drove himself to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. His condition drastically deteriorated, which led him to be readied for surgery, according to Jeremy’s manager Mike Esterman, TMZ reports.
Jeremy has acted in more than 2,000 films, the bulk of which have been pornographic. A popular figure, Jeremy has had crossover appeal from X-rated fare to mainstream movies, most notably appearing in the 1999 action movie Boondock Saints.
