Ron Goldman’s Sister, Kim Goldman, Speaks Out On Anniversary Of Brother’s Death

It has been 25 years since the infamous deaths of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson. The criminal case shook America and left family members and those closest to the victims unsatisfied. Ron Goldman’s siblings and family have stayed out of the spotlight, but on the anniversary of their loved one’s death, they are speaking out.

On June 12, 1994, Ron was returning a pair of sunglasses to Nicole Brown Simpson’s home when the two of them were attacked and stabbed to death. Goldman’s family is speaking out after many years, and it’s safe to say they won’t be stopping anytime soon. Ron’s sister Kim Goldman will be releasing a 10-episode podcast, Confronting: OJ Simpson.

O.J. Simpson, who was accused of murdering Ron and his wife Nicole Brown Simpson, was ultimately acquitted of all charges. However, in a 1997, a civil jury found him responsible for their “wrongful deaths,” and he was required to pay millions to the victims families. He was later charged with robbery and spent nine years serving time in a Nevada prison. He was released in 2017 and lives in Nevada today.

Kim wants to clear the air on some popular misconceptions from the murder case. With the recent release of FX true crime anthology, The People v. O.J Simpson: American Crime Story and its success, the story has been brought back into circulation over the past few years. Kim hopes her podcast to give those closest to the case a chance to speak. “There’s been so much coverage,” she said, but also “a lot of missed opportunities, I think, to ask questions that go a little bit beyond the more obvious,” she said in a recent interview.
