Disney executives are unhappy with the first cut of the Star Wars trilogy spinoff, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, directed by Gareth Edwards, so the movie will be going through expensive reshooting during the summer, according to Page Six.
“The execs at Disney are not happy with the movie, and ‘Rogue One’ will have to go back into four weeks of expensive reshoots in July,” a source told Page Six.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story stars Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna and Ben Mendelsohn.
The spinoff if set to release on December 16, 2016.
