Robin Roberts Returns Home After Bone Marrow Transplant

It's been exactly a month since Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts, 51, was admitted to the hospital for a bone marrow transplant to help treat her rare myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), and now she's back home and voicing all kinds of gratitude on Twitter.

"There's no place like home," she tweeted this morning. "After 30 days in the hospital I'm home. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Thank YOU and bless YOU. XO"

While she also had lots of kind words for her medical team and her two sisters, Dorothy and Sally-Ann, the latter of whom donated her own bone marrow. "My doctors tell me her cells are making themselves right at home and with the grace of God, I pray that they will continue to do so," Roberts wrote on the blog for ABC News.

More than anything, however, Roberts thanked her GMA audience. "I know it is your prayers and warm thoughts that have gotten me this far. I truly feel them each and every day. I humbly ask that you please continue to send them until you see me back at the GMA anchor desk and I promise to send them right back at ya," she wrote.

It will still be awhile, "until I'm given the all clear," before Roberts returns to GMA, but, for now, just "sleeping in my own bed again feels like a big victory."
