Robert Cormier, a young actor who had already built up an impressive list of TV credits, has died in Ontario, Canada at the age of 32. His sister Stephanie said that he passed away from injuries related to a fall.

He most recently played the character Finn Cotter on two seasons of the long-running Canadian series Heartland and has also lent his talents to shows like American Gods and Bizarre Murders.

According to his obituary, Cormier was an avid athlete and IMDB lists some of his favorite sports as basketball, billiards, boxing, football and ice hockey. He was also a film school graduate who wrote, produced and even directed several short films while also getting his acting career off the ground.

Robert Cormier was born on June 14, 1989 in Toronto Canada. His father Robert Cormier was a small business owner, and his mother Lisa was a lab technician. Robert was the first in his family to have an interest in acting.

He also studied World Economics for a time at York University in Toronto, though he left before getting a degree. He also graduated from Texas A&M with a Fire and Engineering Extension Services degree.

Cormier is survived by his parents Robert and Lisa, sisters Brittany, Krystal and Stephanie, and his grandmother Joanne. His obituary also said Cormier had “a passion for helping others and was always looking to achieve more.”
