Ricky Martin held his One World Tour 2015 premiere in Aukland, New Zealand, at the city’s Vector Arena Thursday night.
Martin’s concert in New Zealand yesterday was the first time he’s performed there in 15 years, and his return was greeted with high praise from those in the audience. Catering to fans from his heyday, he performed his hits “Shake your Bon Bon,” “Livin’ la Vida Loca,” and “She Bangs,” and even managed to win over those who were unfamiliar with his popular tracks.
As could be expected, Martin didn’t just bring the vocals to his performance – he brought his signature dance moves as well. Martin danced with his eight backup dancers and got the crowd moving with them.
“I want people in the office on Monday to say ‘I saw you at the Ricky Martin concert and you looked ridiculous,'” he said. “That’s what I want.”
Martin will head to Australia for his One World Tour April 24 before heading to Mexico in June and the U.S. in September.
