Rapper Rick Ross, 42, was found unresponsive in his Davie, Florida, home in the early hours of Thursday, March 1. He is now reportedly battling for his life on life support at a local hospital.

RICK ROSS FOUND UNRESPONSIVE AT HOME

According to a dispatch report obtained by Us Weekly, someone called 911 when Ross, who has a history of seizures, was found unconscious and heavily breathing. The unnamed caller reportedly noticed that the rapper was “slobbing out the mouth,” police said.

Once medical professionals arrived, Ross was conscious and became combative. The Grammy nominee told the police, according to the 911 caller, that he was just “nodding his head” and had “boo-bood on himself.”

TMZ reports that Ross was transported to a local hospital and is receiving respiratory treatment for a possible case of pneumonia. An unidentified family member, however, strongly disputed that Ross was hospitalized to the website.

In 2011, Ross suffered two seizures within a six-hour period and was hospitalized in Birmingham. He later told BET’s 106 & Park that “it was a case of me not getting enough rest, enough sleep. I would get two hours of sleep and keep moving.”

In an attempt to stymie his seizures, Ross lost about 75 pounds in recent years. He weighed 350 at his heaviest, he revealed to Men’s Health in 2016.
