At the ‘Happy Hour’ GOP Debate on Thursday evening, Rick Perry flubbed Ronald Reagan’s name, appearing to call the former President Ronald Raven.
Perry was speaking about illegal immigration when he made the flub, which immediately went viral. (The flub occurs at the 0:24 seconds mark.)
Needless to say, the Internet reacted with enthusiasm.
As the memes and Internet jokes grew in number, Perry’s campaign released a statement denying the flub entirely, insisting that the former Governor of Texas “clearly said Ronald Reagan.”
