Ricardo Medina Jr., who starred in Power Rangers Wild Force, was arrested for murder over the weekend after a dispute with his roommate.
Medina, 36, was arrested for the murder in the stabbing death of his roommate Joshua Sutter, according to a statement released by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.
On Saturday, Medina and Sutter got into a verbal altercation that ultimately turned physical. At one point, Medina walked away from the fight and went to his room with his girlfriend. When Sutter forced himself into Medina’s room, Medina wielded a sword and stabbed him. Sutter was taken to the hospital for his injuries and was eventually pronounced dead from the sword wound.
After stabbing Sutter, Medina reportedly phoned police. Once law enforcement arrived, they questioned Medina about the incident and then arrested him for Sutter’s murder. He is being held at Palmdale Sheriff’s station on $1 million bail, as investigators look into the homicide.
Medina will appear in court Tuesday morning.
